Director of Clinical Services
Candace Blood, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, Licensed Addiction Counselor, and Certified Clinical Supervisor. Candace serves as the Director of Clinical Services at Longleaf Hospital where she oversees the Social Service Department and the Intensive Outpatient Program. Candace has previously held other management roles in agencies in her community. She has extensive experience working with the Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health populations. She is trained in EMDR therapy, CPT, ART and REBT therapy. She has a private practice in which she works with professionals with substance use disorders including the Recovering Nurses Program, the Healthcare Professionals’ Foundation of Louisiana, and the Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Central Louisiana Human Service District and is member of the Regional Advisory Council.
Candace earned her undergraduate degree at Northwestern State University in Social Work and her Master’s in Social Work from Louisiana State University
